Well I have a DL560 Gen8 and it needs a SmartCache license (P420i). Anyone found a way around?

any idea what the product number is?

686784-421, they just changed CPU and RAM as I bought it used/refurbished.

also according to this if its a gen8 - https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=c03369047&page=GUID-BC9621D3-85D1-489F-A8EE-D2C0A239846E.html
"Either a minimum of 256MB cache and battery kit or a minimum of 512MB BBWC/FBWC is required to enable RAID 5, 50, 6, 60. HP Smart Array Advanced Pack (SAAP 2.0) is no longer required to enable 6 & 60 (Advanced Data Guarding). However, controller must be in firmware version 4.68 (or later)"
Have you updated the firmware yet to see if it helps?

The firmware is up to date (8.32), I'm asking if someone has got a SmartCache license as my RAID controller is a P420i.
