You will be reviewing and correcting segmentation masks that identify cows in images. An AI model has generated initial masks, and your task is to make them accurate by ensuring the mask precisely covers the entire cow and nothing else.
Review each image and update the mask to ensure it:
- Covers the entire cow - every visible part of the cow should be included in the mask
- Excludes everything else - background, ground, vegetation, and other objects should not be masked
- Has clean edges - the mask boundary should follow the cow's outline accurately
- Paint brush: Use to add mask coverage where the cow is visible but not masked
- Eraser tool: Use to remove mask areas that incorrectly cover background or non-cow objects
- Adjust brush size: Change the brush size as needed for fine details or large areas
Before - The mask is incomplete, missing parts of the cow or includes areas that are not the cow:

After - The mask now covers the entire cow accurately:

Some images may have no initial mask at all. In these cases, you will need to create the entire mask from scratch using the paint tool.
Before submitting each image, verify:
- ✅ The entire visible cow is covered by the mask
- ✅ No background elements are included in the mask
- ✅ The mask edges are clean and follow the cow's outline
