One incident involved an actual landing that lasted 30 seconds.
There was no stigma before that incident, but afterward the cover-up began.
Discouraged from calling it in, but people would still tell Jeff.
One person was Phoenix, he and Jeff saw a 20-30ft bright sphere come down over Jeff's yard for 30 seconds then go back up into the sky.
Jeff reported it.
His motivation for coming out is to give a voice to witnesses.
Let people speak the truth.
Jeff's experience was positive because he was with friends when they saw the sphere, so they could call each other.
But, not every witness has that.
They first have to integrate their experience by themselves, and second they get retaliated against at work.

Q: What was the biggest trauma?
A: Had to reevaluate all his beliefs. Had a kind of atheistic point of view and it put him on a lifelong journey of soul searching. Sighting itself was exhilarating. Trauma came later, seeing what happened to the guys like his friend Chaz who took it hard, what the military did to them.

Q: Karl Nell said we need to devote ourselves to our faith traditions. What led you back?
A: It wasn't an immediate return. He's always been interested in mythology and world religions and which one is right. He came to think they're all right. The answer is to look up into the sky.

Q: Who or what is supporting you as a person dealing with this stress/ontology?
A: My family. We want to do short 3-day retreats with whistleblowers. They need friendship and companionship. They heal together. Trust & friendship.
