Add this to /etc/profile:

alias syslog="socat - UNIX-CONNECT:/var/run/lockdown/syslog.sock"

Install socat from Cydia if you haven't already, run . /etc/profile to re-read the script and then you can type:

~$ syslog
ASL is here to serve you
> watch
