Well, since You now know, how about fixing the description of those three, in your primary post?
This is important for folks out there, trying to setup the game w/o battlenet launcher app.. yet the information is nowhere to be found, and almost everyone just copies info from here, to their sites, so how about filling that gap?
How about dropping the attitude or doing it yourself?

-nosave iirc, takes no arguments and will prevent offline games from saving character, map, and other data to disk entirely as if the session never happened.
-skiplogovideo may be defunct. It skips the opening cinematics and so on in original diablo2
-realm may likely be a pointer to the game realm you wish the Battle Net service to access. May be defunct because security but not sure.
-sndbkg is likely defunct, but allows sounds to play from the game while the window isn't focused.
The latest version (that shipped with the new expansion, Reign of the Warlock, or maybe a few versions before that) comes with some new arguments - most importantly:
-forcedesktop which unbreaks the broken UI you get when you try to play with Mouse/Keyboard on a device that it considers as a "handheld".
Maybe edit the above list to add all the new additions?

-username is the email of your battlenet account you registered to and use as login together with -password and -address combo
-password goes after -username but before -address
-address is the domain name or ip of the game server official ones are: eu.actual.battle.net ; us.actual.battle.net and kr.actual.battle.net no unofficial servers are known to date. goes together with -username and -password
if you specify all three in the correct order with actual battle.net account email and passowrd and one of three domains from above, all in target window in a shortcut to D2R.exe, after the path to it, you can start the game completely bypassing battlenet launchr app.
