Setting up a new java project

1. Make a new directory for the project

2. Add a pom.file with the contents (Update it to your project name and dependencies as required)

            </dependency>
        </dependencies>
   
    </project>
   

3. Start IntelliJ. Import Project and select the pom.xml file from above. Check "Import Maven projects automatically" from the next dialog window. Click next on the subsequent dialogs to complete the installation.

4. Run Build -> Make Project.
