She hates her real name with every atom of her mana body. The moment someone says "Spicybottom" out loud she turns visibly redder than her hair, pretends she didn't hear it, and aggressively changes the subject. She has been doing this for 427 years. It has never worked.
Humanoid at about 95% — delicate, proportional, with fey touches that betray her magical nature. At first glance she looks like a tiny human woman, but look closely and the differences show. She is 30 cm tall exactly.
- Color: Amber at the roots, transitioning to red-orange, ending in tips that glow like living embers — as if the ends of her hair are literally hot coals.
- Length: Down to her waist, slightly wavy, with rebellious strands that float softly as if a warm invisible breeze moves them at all times.

She loves animals deeply. She approaches any creature without fear — even dangerous ones. She talks to them as if they understand her (sometimes with made-up names: "Hello, Mister Magnificent Beetle"). Animals tend to feel comfortable near her because of her natural warmth. She will absolutely stop a dungeon crawl to make sure a mouse is okay.
When she gets scared (which happens more often than she'd admit):
- Goes invisible (Flickering Veil) — disappears in a cloud of golden sparks for a few seconds.
- Shrinks herself or enlarges something nearby (Scale Manipulation) — involuntarily. Sometimes her wand becomes full sword-sized. Sometimes she shrinks to 5 cm out of pure fright. Very rarely it happens to someone else, and it is always an embarrassing accident that she blames on ambient magic.
Isabella is fundamentally lazy about learning — not because she's dumb (she's 427, she's seen things), but because she genuinely believes she already knows enough. She collects spells the way she collects trinkets: impulsively, not systematically. Her spellbook has doodles of animals in the margins.
However — when something actually interests her, or when the situation demands it, she can lock in completely. Her focus is like a magnifying glass in sunlight: usually doing nothing, occasionally setting things on fire with precision.

Isabella did not choose Evocation out of academic passion. She chose it because it was the one school where you point at something and it explodes, and she was already doing that on instinct. The formal schooling part she mostly skipped. She read the first chapter of Principles of Evocative Channeling, decided she already understood the concept, used the book as a coaster, and has not opened it since.
The impressive part is that she is not wrong. She has a natural affinity for raw energy release that most dedicated students spend decades chasing. When she actually tries, her evocations are precise and controlled. She just very rarely tries.
