For Ubuntu users

• Run this in terminal: sudo gedit /etc/sysctl.conf

• Scroll to the bottom and paste: fs.inotify.max_user_watches=524288

• Save and clode the editor, then run this: sudo sysctl -p

• To check your success: cat /proc/sys/fs/inotify/max_user_watches

• This should return 524288
