Contributor License Agreement

Thank you for your interest in contributing to the Pacta project.

This Contributor License Agreement ("Agreement") applies to any contribution that you make to the Pacta project.

  1. Definitions

"You" (or "Your") shall mean the copyright owner or legal entity authorized by the copyright owner that is making this Agreement.

"Contribution" shall mean any original work of authorship, including any modifications or additions to an existing work, that is intentionally submitted by You to the Pacta project.

  1. Grant of Copyright License

You hereby grant to the Pacta Project maintainers a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute Your Contributions and such derivative works.

  1. Grant of Patent License

You hereby grant to the Pacta Project maintainers a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable (except as stated in this section) patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer the Work, where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable by You that are necessarily infringed by Your Contribution.

  1. Representations

You represent that:

  • You are legally entitled to grant the above license.
  • Each Contribution is Your original creation or You have sufficient rights to submit it.
  1. Relicensing

You agree that the Pacta Project maintainers may license or relicense Your Contribution under any license, including proprietary or commercial licenses, provided that this does not limit Your right to use Your Contribution under the original open-source license.

  1. No Warranty

You provide Your Contributions on an "AS IS" basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind.
