Welcome to Unwind (“App”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Unwind. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1) Who We Are & Contact
Unwind is a relaxation and sleep‑support app providing short audio stories, soundscapes, and narration designed to help you unwind.

We do not accept postal mail at this time.

2) Who Can Use Unwind
The App is available globally.
Children & Teens: Unwind is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 18, you should use the App only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete that data.
Note: The App is for general wellness and relaxation. It is not medical or psychological advice and not a substitute for professional diagnosis, treatment, or therapy. If you are in crisis or think you may harm yourself or others, call your local emergency number.

3) Accounts & Sign‑In
You may sign up or sign in with email, Apple, Google, or Facebook.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and update it as necessary.
Account deletion: You may request account deletion by emailing support.unwind@gmail.com from the email associated with your account. We may take reasonable steps to verify the request. (In‑app deletion will be added later.)

4) The Service & Features
Content: Unwind currently offers audio stories, soundscapes, and narration.
Offline downloads: Not available at this time.
User content: Unwind does not host user‑generated content (no uploads, comments, or forums).
Personalization: We may later offer personalized recommendations (e.g., based on listening history, time of day, device, locale). If/when enabled, we will clearly explain and provide choices.
Third‑party links: The App may contain links to third‑party sites/services. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature (with reasonable notice where required).

5) Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Copy, record, rip, or redistribute audio except as permitted by these Terms.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access source code.
Circumvent any security or access control.
Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes; introduce malware or interfere with the App.
Use any automated means (scrapers, bots) without our prior written permission.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

6) Intellectual Property
Our IP: The App, including software, UI, logos, trademarks, and all audio content, are owned by Unwind or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non‑transferable, non‑exclusive license to use the App for your own non‑commercial, personal relaxation purposes.
No ownership transfer: These Terms do not transfer any ownership of our IP to you.
Feedback: If you send ideas or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use them without obligation.

7) Payments
The App is currently free. If we introduce subscriptions or paid features later, we will disclose pricing, billing periods, trials, and cancellation terms in the App and update these Terms.

8) Disclaimers
Unwind is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non‑infringement, or uninterrupted/ error‑free operation.
Wellness notice: Audio experiences may cause drowsiness. Do not use while driving or operating machinery.

9) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unwind and its affiliates, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the App will not exceed USD 50 (or the equivalent in local currency).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, the limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.

10) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Unwind, its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11) Changes to the App & Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the App, law, or operations. We will post the updated Terms and update the Effective Date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice in the App or by email when feasible. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.

12) Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and request account deletion via support.unwind@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, fraud, or legal/safety reasons.

13) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. Courts located in Kolkata, West Bengal, India will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you or we may seek injunctive relief in any competent court.
If a particular term is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
