What is the Chrome folder?

Inside your Root Directory, you'll see many folders. The Chrome folder holds your CSS files. By default there are userChrome.css & userContent.css files in the Chrome folder.

What if I don't see the Chrome folder?

  • You can create one. Manual creation works just fine.

What is userChrome.css?

  • This file allows custom CSS to be applied to the browser UI (the browser chrome).

What is userContent.css?

  • This file allows custom CSS to be applied to website content, about:pages, and extension content.
