hello, can someone explain how i can use the above? Sublime Updated and now im back to point zero. i couldn't find the cracked 3103 build here https://gist.github.com/vertexclique/9839383, so here i am, clicked on your recent links in the comment. :)

how screwed am i? :P

UPDATED: scratch that... a little research taught me a lot. basically what i understood i need a Hex Editor, and go to mentioned Offset above, and do the proposed changes. (in case another rookie stumbles upon the above)

UPDATE2: I got it to work by using this editor: https://mh-nexus.de/en/downloads.php?product=HxD after installation, drag n drop the sublime_text.exe file, press CTRL+G and go to the above offset... do the necessary changes

But, if you want to crack any version of Sublime text .

in this video i was shown, how you can crack any build of sublime text 3 to life time unlimited user .
as demo i was shown Sublime Text 3 build 3013 cracked tutorial :)

Hi @harbinger20. I used an online hex editor. The problem is that when I run the file from /opt/sublime text/ folder everything is ok but it seems like a clean install. When I launch from whisker menu it's is back unregistered. Can you help?

To get Unlimited User License on Linux x64 3170 just run:

printf '\x00\01' | sudo dd seek=$((0xD5D8)) conv=notrunc bs=1 of=/opt/sublime_text_3/sublime_text

For Windows users, here's a PowerShell script to automatically apply the hex edits: hexpatcher
So elegant on Linux and Mac, so clunky in Windows.
