setup

First you need a launcher. I would recommend CurseForge, others (especially fabric) seem to have problems with the modpack.

Then you need to install the modpack Minecraft Eternal 2

Start the modpack. Don't forget to send your minecraft username to Henrik, so he can whitelist you.

Under multiplayer, select "Add Server", enter whatever name you like and the IP address (see minecraft channel in Discord).

NOTE: If you're streaming, please don't show the IP in the stream. The server is whitelisted, but I don't want people to take up bandwidth by trying to connect.

Rules

General rule: Be respectful and don’t cause lag or chaos for others.

1. Don't be an asshole.
2. No griefing or stealing
3. PvP only with consent
4. Don't build too close to other players' bases
5. Don't use chunkloaders without permission (-> Henrik)
6. Don't build excessive redstone circuits or other things that might cause lag
7. Don't mine into man-made structures
8. No hacking/cheating
9. roleplay is not mandatory, but highly encouraged!

Mining

Be mindful where you mine, some players have large underground bases. Avoid man-made areas (e.g. brick walls, polished floors, etc.). In the city, avoid mining downwards, hidden mechanisms power farms and infrastructure.

Base Building

You can build your base almost anywhere, but be reasonable, don’t claim huge areas or spam chunks. If you find another player’s base, ask before building nearby.

City

I'd like to see a lively, organic city around spawn. Feel free to expand it — uneven layouts, varied building heights, and mixed styles are encouraged. Avoid rigid grids or giant rectangular blocks.

NOTE: There's hidden redstone and farm mechanisms under the city — please mine outside of it.
