Project: Rancid Tomatillos

Group Member Names:

  • Scott Ertmer, Trisha Langlois and Garret Iannuzzi

Goals and Expectations for the Project (What does each group member hope to get out of this project? What do we want to achieve as a team? How will we know that we're successful?):

  • Scott: nested fetch, testing
  • Trisha: testing, Redux
  • Garrett: Redux, testing, nested fetch
  • Defining success for us will be imporving our knowledge of the learning goals...
  • Helping each other grow

Schedule Expectations (When are we available to work together and individually? What constraints do we have?):

  • The weekend right before we start back up will be open for everyone, we plan on being at school. Final schedule is not known yet....
  • Independent time before school, till 7pm after.....
  • Trisha: 12/17 no,
  • Scott: none yet, no friday coding
  • Garrett: mentor meets T's at 4:30
  • Daily check-ins - either 8:30AM or during lunch for reviewing PR and daily plan do not expect respone after 9pm
  • Paired programming
  • CELEBRATE WINS!

Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?):

  • We mostly want to collaborate on everything together so everyone can make progress in their learning....

Workflow Expectations (Git workflow/Tools/Code Review/Reviewing Pull Requests/Debugging and Problem-solving Techniques):

  • Use slack to constantly be in communication while remote working.
  • Communicate progress and create PR for production quality code (no console logs, commented out code, etc.) use PR format we used in Mod 2. Stay up-to-date with GH Projects. Use SCSS for styling tool. Don't merge own PR. 2 team members review each PR.
  • Expectations for giving and receiving feedback: Up front and honest. Don't be afraid to tell, and don't be afraid to be told. Actionable, honest, kind. Take each moment as a learning opportunity.
