The comic book notes have an alt_covers property that contains a list of the alternate comic book cover image files, which can be stored anywhere in your vault. Add as many alt covers files there as you want.

There is an embedded base that looks for the alt_covers of the current file and displays them in a card view. The important parts:

I suggest having a comic book note template that contains the embedded base!
